Is the PSPO I exam available in French?
No. Scrum.org offers the PSPO I assessment in English, in Japanese (at scrum.org) and in Simplified Chinese (through scrum.org.cn). There is no French version.
What that changes on the day
As with PSM I, you read 80 questions in English in 60 minutes, 45 seconds each, against an 85% pass mark. Scenarios about value and stakeholders often take longer to read than questions on the rules of Scrum.
The vocabulary is that of the English Scrum Guide and Evidence-Based Management: Product Goal, Product Backlog, stakeholders, value, outcomes. The shades of meaning between those terms are exactly what the questions test.
What Scrum.org advises
Scrum.org recommends studying the Scrum Guide in your own language first, then reviewing the English version to get used to the vocabulary of the assessment, which the questions are based on.
Scrum.org says many test-takers use the Google Translate plugin during the assessment, without guaranteeing the translation. On judgement questions, one badly translated nuance is enough to pick the wrong answer.
How to prepare
Practise in English, as the exam is: Kwestio’s questions are, with explanations, lessons and interface in French on the French site. Finish with a timed 80-question, 60-minute mock exam.
