PSM I: Scrum Values practice questions
29 questions on Scrum Values, one of the 8 areas assessed in Professional Scrum Master I. Untimed, with an explanation after every answer.
The five Scrum Values are Commitment, Focus, Openness, Respect and Courage. Questions describe a behaviour, such as admitting you do not know or dismissing a colleague’s idea, and ask which value it shows or breaks. Others ask why the values matter: when lived, they bring transparency, inspection and adaptation to life and build trust.
Commitment is not a promise to finish every Sprint Backlog item or to work longer hours: the Scrum Team commits to achieving its goals and to supporting each other. Courage includes pushing back on pressure to skip testing. Openness means making work and problems visible. The values apply at all times, not only in events.
